If, in the spirit of High Fidelity, you were compiling a top five (or top 10) greatest debut albums, Ramones would definitely be there along with albums like The Clash, Led Zeppelin and The Doors' eponymous debuts and arguably Guns N’ Roses' Appetite for Destruction. Also, it seems many band's first albums are eponymous and really good, so Black Sabbath would have to be considered as well.
