Stay Hungry, Come Out and Play, and Love Is for Suckers are great Twisted Sister albums.

Been watching The Stones at Glasto on the Beeb.

Pretty poor i thought, credit to them at their age etc, but Jagger can't carry a tune any more.

They made some really good stuff which comes from live recordings, B-sides, songs which never made it to the final album etc. You've probably heard these but for those who have not:

Nirvana - The Man Who Sold the World (Electric Version)

Nirvana - Verse Chorus Verse

Nirvana - Blandest

Nirvana - I Hate Myself & Want to Die

Nirvana - Jesus don't want me for a Sunbeam Live At The Paramount

etc etc...

I'm skipping through their set on BBC iPlayer right now, not too bad, but Keef ruined my favourite Stones track-Sympathy For The Devil, by messing up his lead parts, seemed like he couldn't be arsed, I played it better last night!

I love We're a Happy Family: A Tribute to the Ramones which has some really good covers. I don't like Rob Zombie's cover of Blitzkrieg Bop, but Metallica's version of 53rd & 3rd is really good and the version I bought has these two tracks which other ones don't:

Many thanks to Demdike for the recommendation – it's a top album.

Watching Elvis Costello doing his Glasto set. Now there's a voice that's still going strong . . .

Having just watched the short coverage of them at Glasto, I've decided I'm gonna try and convince the rest of the band to add this awesome song to our forever growing setlist

You're more than welcome Nosferatu.

I'm pleased the one you got turned out to be the special edition too.
