Chas and Dave - Railroad Bill

A fine blues anthem on Later with Jools Holland.

Midnight Special - another great stripped down blues tune from the new Chas and Dave album Thats What Happens.

After hearing this on the telly this afternoon I've not been able to get it out of my head nor have I been able to stop singing it. I'm hoping after one more listen it will disappear for a few weeks at least.

Please help!

Here's a strange one. It's from the KISS MTV Unplugged set

And yes, Gene DOES get the lyrics wrong!

If you are not familiar with the song, this is the 'proper' version

I always thought the focus on the bikini top not stay in place was completely irrelevant considering the bikini top was completely see-through anyway. There are other standards we need to worry about here.

I've just finished listening to British Steel by Judas Priest. It's the first time I've listened to them and I was very impressed. It was almost like a compilation album as Rob Halford's vocals were different on very track. I can't help but think he must've been a big inspiration for Bruce Dickenson.

Also listened to the first four tracks of Blackbird by Alter Bridge (I'll listen to the rest later). Also very good so far.
