I've got a quick question regarding CD's.

What's a Japanese Mini LP CD? They seem to be very pricey, around the £22 mark for one album including shipping etc. Why are they so expensive, and are they worth the price?

The Flying Lizards (album)

David Cunningham and the divine Deborah Evans-Stickland. The album sounded like nothing on earth in 1980 and today it sounds like nothing in the solar system.

Awesome album.

I've been listening to a bit of Pop Will Eat Itself recently, who feature in Prodigy's - Their Law on the Jilted album.

Big fan of the Prodigy and a big fan of Weezer too "I don't care what they say about his singing, I don't care 'bout that" !

Tom Waits is a legend! Have you seen him in Jim Jarmusch's Coffee and Cigarettes? If not I recommend you watch it, brilliant film! I'm not such a fan of his more modern experiemental stuff but prefer his earlier 70s/80s 'Nighthawks at the Diner' seedy, sleazy New Yoik jazz/pop stuff. I would kill to see him (or Neil Young) live!!

My fave Prodigy song is probably Smack My Bitch Up (have fond memories of running round laserquest as a teen, all adrenaline-pumped with that song blaring out the speakers!).

I like there earlier stuff too, Charly is great; "Charly says never talk to strangers" Lol. I remember wandering round the streets of amsterdam, after coming out of a coffee shop which was playing that song and these dodgy drug-pushers were like "do you know charly? wanna meet my friend charly?" lol it was too much.

I quite like the earlier stuff though I rarely listen to it, it's the noisier stuff for me! Swordfishtrombones is probably the greatest album ever made IMO.
