I went to see Badly Drawn Boy a few years back a mate dragged me to it I actually enjoyed it the guy has alot of talent he played for about four hours bit of music bit of stand up climbed the balcony still playing guitar all round fun night. I expected to hate it.

Whether it's a gig, film, album, book or meal, I always find things are always better when they exceed expectations.

It taught me to be more open minded to things atleast give them a try before deciding not to like it.

My brother has become more like that as he has grown up, at least in terms of food. When he was a child and presented with something he hadn't eaten before, he often said 'I don't like it – what is it?'.

Yeah I know people like that won't eat certain food because of the colour or look of it rather than not liking the taste
