Currently listening to Rob Halford's new album, Made Of Metal which is excellent. A great mix of both head-banging metal hits to more emotional and powerful songs. Highly recommended - although the official video for the title track is a bit crap.

Just bought Alter Bridge - AB III and it's a fantastic album. So catchy and heavier than the previous 2 albums. I'm off to see them Friday so it should be a blast

Broadcast and The Focus Group Investigate Witch Cults of the Radio Age.

A weird mix of noises and samples that songs and tunes float in and out of, it reminds me of "Blood on Satan's Claw" the film though not the sound track, if that makes any sense.

Wow, lots of heavy metal fans. To be expected I suppose. I'm more of a punk/psychobilly/Motown fan, meself. Lately the following artists have been on the dial:

Cocksparrer
Circle Jerks
Descendents
Ramones
Demented Are Go
The Supremes
Stiff Little Fingers
Toy Dolls
Black Flag
Dead Kennedys.

I'm always making myself mix CDs for my car.

Gillian Hills, star of cult tv show "The Owl Service" doing some cheesy French pop music from the 60s. She duets with Eddie Constantine of "Alphaville" fame on the cd too.

Still listening to Broadcast and The Focus Group, anyone else heard this, it's f*cking amazing.

None of my faves listed Discharge, The Exploited, Sex Pistols, Big Black, DOA, The Anti Nowhere League...But this week I 'ave mostly been listening to Jean Michel Jarre after being blown away at the 02 last week by him!
