Both Yes and Rush are bands i've taken a liking to in the last 15 years or so. I wouldn't have touched them in my teens or twenties.

They mustn't be for youngsters.

Considering I'm 36 in 3 weeks, I wouldn't say I was a youngster ha ha, but yeah you're right

In anticipation of their set at Glasto in a few minutes, I've got a feeling they're gonna be a let down, hope I'm wrong!

The Who are quite impressive at Glastonbury. I notice they have a far better sound than they allowed Motorhead.

However they are no longer the edgy Mods from back in the day. The songs and stage production make them just another arena rock band, no better or worse than Bon Jovi and such like.

Great to see them covering the themes from the CSI tv shows.

Yeah, they proved me wrong, but I still think we do a better version of Won't Get Fooled Again

They did one of the better Super Bowl half time shows in recent years. Mind you, the other memorable performances have come from other 'old school rock bands' like Bruce Springsteen and the E Street Band, the Rolling Stones and Tom Petty & the Heartbreakers who, at least to me, have been far superior to acts like Bruno Mars (upstaged by the Red Hot Chili Peppers), Katy Perry (upstaged by a dancing shark) and The Black Eyed Peas, who were terrible.

Jazz on Film - Film Noir

A Streetcar Named Desire (Alex North)
Private Hell 36 (Leith Stevens)
The Man with the Golden Arm (Elmer Bernstein)
Sweet Smell of Success(Elmer Bernstein/Chico Hamilton)
Touch of Evil (Henry Mancini)
Anatomy of A Murder (Duke Ellington)
Odds Against Tomorrow (John Lewis)

Jazz On Film Records - Store

This is a really good series, and I have the CDs but I have just been on their store and they sell MP3 versions for a silly cheap price!
