Ricky tours with Skynyrd these days. Was always a kind of unofficial member. Blackfoot's 'Highway Song' is basically 'Freebird' mk II.

They should have been bigger than they were, because they laid down some amazing tracks - lots of southern boogey and slide guitars, but also conventional metal and even a disco-beat cover version of 'Got a Line on You'. Medlocke's got a big voice too.
