If you've never listened to Carpenter Brut before, try them out, they are heavily influenced by cheesey 80's Horror and Action movie synth scores, Heavy Metal and obviously John Carpenter!

Not bad at all. In fact i'm pleased you posted it as it was one of Metal Hammer's albums of the year and it sounded really interesting. I need to check out more of them as i'm not bothered about instrumental albums usually.

Featuring Kristoffer Rygg from Ulver on vocals.

Video is worth a watch too, they seem to be doing a 'video album' kind of thing for their last album and have put out a video for each track which tells for the story of a serial killer called Leather Teeth, this is like the origin story part.

Arch Enemy - Silverwing

The song that got me into the band way back in 1999. No women or clothing brands in sight.
