Yep that's Diane Lane, yes the song is written by Jim Steinman of Meatloaf "Bat" fame and yes **** me that dress, so a hat trick to Dem.

I take it you've never seen the film then, it's a Walter Hill cheesefest, It's very 80's.

Among the first video's I ever rented.

I couldn't tell what it was from the video seeing as you never said what it was. I thought it was Sheena Easton or something so i looked up the song title and up came Streets of Fire.

I see the music vid is on the Blu-ray... which is out of stock everywhere.

Screaming Trees - Witness

Dust (1996)

At the time Dust was my favourite album from the Grunge era. Now almost thirty (f*cking hell! Really?) years later it's still my favourite but Pearl Jam's Ten runs it close.

Mark Lanegan had such a fantastic voice and i had no idea he was living in Kerry until he passed away.

Very Bowie like, especially Robert Fripp's guitar. Great song.

Warren Zevon - Werewolves Of London

Excitable Boy (1978)

I'm currently listening over and over to a two cd set of seventies California music - Jackson Browne, Judy Collins, Joni Mitchell, Gram Parsons, The Grateful Dead, The Byrds etc - and this classic from Zevon has become a proper ear worm once more.
