I was just about to post this;

Nightwish announce Decades album and North American/European tour - Metal Hammer

UK Bloodstock date is the only one, they're doing an American tour, Euro festivals then a mainland Europe tour in the Autumn. Bad form guys...

They've certainly lost the popularity they had when Tarja was with them. In the UK i mean.

Their last three albums

Dark Passion Play - #25
Imaginarium - #69
Endless... - #12

When compared to Within Temptation

The Heart... - # 38
The Unforgiving - #23
Hydra - #6

Whilst their chart positions aren't bad, had they not ****ed about with singers all the time i'm sure they'd be better. Hopefully they will stick with Floor for a long time and stay on an even keel.

Best not mention the album Once... which sold 2.3m worldwide.

Once is a fantastic album but they’re a completely different band now. Endless Forms... is a bloody brilliant album and I too hope that they stick with Floor now. I’m not surprised about Within Temptation, their songwriting gets better and better each album! They need to watch out for Delain though even though they are related by family!

Their best album was The Human Contradiction which hit #44.

The last album got to #50.

I think they’re going to become as popular in the next few years, they’re only 10 years old, WT have been going for 20 years now

Maybe. We need somebody coming through. There's a real dearth of quality rock bands with the potential to be headliners at festivals.

At least we had Brit rock / pop.

Maybe i'm out of music completely but there doesn't seem to be any sort of scene nowadays except manufactured pop where every song is by so and so featuring bollocks and knackers and all sound identical.
