Was never a fan of Nu-Metal (I am now) but I was bang into all the grunge bands, it still upsets me that Kurt Cobain was murdered (tin foil hat time) three weeks before I was due to see Nirvana in Manchester

I’ve read stuff and watched documentaries from both sides of the argument and tbh I don’t know what to believe anymore, either way, finding out he’d died while delivering the morning papers before school ruined my entire week, I still remember all the girls (and some boys) in my year being inconsolable

Her dad alludes to that himself on the Kurt & Courtney doc... he's a character. Personally I just think he was deeply depressed and haunted by addictions.

I can still remember my mum telling he was dead, I was upset but I couldn't understand why people were devastated, I get it now, but back then I had a heart of ice...
