I always take 'farewell tours' with a grain of salt, unless they do it Motley Crue style and sign a contract to say that they are forbidden to re-unite https://www.rollingstone.com/music/n...-tour-20140128

Did you see the concert film of their last show? It's one which I've been meaning to but completely forgotten about until now. Tommy Lee's drums on a 'rollercoaster' that zips around the arena FFS I reckon it's amazing!

I have the Carnival of Sins tour (Saw them in Manchester on that one) dvd which is good. In all honesty though, when i saw them headline the NEC in 89 on the Dr. Feelgood tour with Skid Row and White Lion and at the Monsters of Rock in 91 touring Decade of Aggression - they were a lot more of a vital butt kicking rock band rather then the huge shows since Vince returned to the band. Admittedly Tommy always had a 'mad' drum riser experience to show off but they were definitely a more dangerous band if you get my meaning. |

Metallica were at their hungriest as well. Headliners AC/DC with their overlong guitar solos didn't stand a chance really against Metallica and Motley that day. |

The second song to be released off the new Amorphis album is a bit good!

21st April, 1968 - Rock band Roundabout made their live debut, playing a show in Tastrup, Denmark. A few months later, the band, consisting of Jon Lord on organ, Nick Simper on bass, Bobby Woodman on drums, Rod Evans on vocals and Richie Blackmore on guitar would change their name to Deep Purple! The setlist for that historic gig was: Hush (Joe South cover) And the Address Hey Joe (The Leaves cover) Love Help Me Help! (The Beatles cover) Mandrake Root Prelude: Happiness / I'm So Glad One More Rainy Day
