For those who like a gamble, tickets for the 2019 Download Festival have just gone on sale

No acts for the event, being held between June 14th — 16th, 2019 have been announced yet so you might be lucky...or maybe not!

Led Zeppelin are no longer favourites to headline Glastonbury 2019 | Planet Rock

Favourite now is Kendrick Lamar

Status Quo - In The Army Now (Live at Wacken 2017)

I suppose some think they should call it a day following the sad loss of Rick, but on this performance i totally disagree. The Wacken crowd love it and sing a long constantly. To me this suggests they are still a draw and still relevant in the rock world. Carry on guys!

I'd get em to headline next years Download.

Never been a fan myself, but I know from past experience that whenever we play Caroline at party gigs the dance floor instantly fills up, so even though it’s boring as Hell to play, we’ll carry on playing it

Isn't it nice just to switch off for a while in a gig, or do you prefer more technical stuff throughout?

I'm not a fan as such I just have three albums. In the Army Now, the recent ish Aquostic acoustic album and XS All Areas a two disc compilation.

I can imagine they'd go down brilliantly with their sing-a-long anthems as the final band at Download, Wacken, Bloodstock or wherever.

I normally prefer something a bit more challenging to play, AC/DC is the same, always goes down well but boring to play (apart from Thunderstruck which has that awesome intro that I love playing).
But, if it goes down well and gets people up dancing then I’m not bothered, Pulp Common People is another one, boring as Hell to play but a cracking singalong

Tell the singer to bugger off for a song and play Flying in a Blue Dream then.

It’s normally the three of us that bugger off for a cig and leave him doing a solo spot that includes a singalong Bon Jovi medley, most gigs it’s a necessity because I’ve drunk too many beers and need a pee break mid set
