In fact 2004's Inferno is my favourite Motorhead album.
Thanks to you, Dem, I've got a new favourite Motörhead song...

Always a pleasure Prince.

No Voices in the Sky is a fantastic track, glad you've discovered it.

1916 is probably my favourite Motorhead album

It is incredibly eccentric, and contains a wide variety of music, from the 'traditional' Motorhead (which has just made the cats run away in terror)

to songs which you would NEVER say were Motorhead

which is a truly heart-rending song!

Might have to agree. I'm So Bad Baby I don't care, Angel City and Going To Brazil are also amazing.

Yeah, I know, the "classic" albums... I know "Ride the Lightning", "Master of Puppets", and "…And Justice for All". Sorry, but that's pretty formulaic and boring Thrash Metal.

Metallica found their sound with the "Black Album". From that point onwards, every record (except for the abysmal "St.Anger") sounded like Metallica.

Greetings!

You mean they sounded like Bob Rock wanted them to? I was glad when they ****ed him off and returned to the old style again.
Death Magnetic is more thrash sounding than anything they've done IMO
