Why AC/DC? Any real reason or just a personal dislike?

They remain popular, their last two albums sold very well, in fact Black Ice was the second biggest selling album of the year behind Coldplay .

Now that Brian Johnson is back with them i don't see why they should stop performing. Although had it remained a band without a singer i would have agreed with you.

I'd had a few beers when I wrote that

I love AC/DC, but I think with Malcolm and Cliff gone they just aren't the same anymore, I'm interested to see what happens if they do some shows with Brian Johnson though

Ho hum!

Sharon Osbourne Reveals The Extent Of Ozzy’s Injuries | Kerrang

"“He, at the beginning of the year, had a bad flu that went to bronchitis, that went to pneumonia. And then when he had the flu, he came out of hospital and he had a bad accident at home.

“He fell. And he fell in the middle of the night. And years ago, previously, he had a motorbike accident, where he was in a coma for days. And what he’d done was, he reinjured his back and neck and shoulders.

“All of the metal rods and everything that were put in his body were dislodged. So we had to cancel his year events. But he’s good, he’s fine, he’s great.”"

Ever wondered what the setlist for a band charging £100 a ticket looks like?

Manowar's first show in Birmingham on April 19th consisted of:

Intro - March Of The Heroes Into Valhalla
Manowar
Call to Arms
Brothers of Metal Pt. 1
Thor (The Powerhead)
Blood of My Enemies
The Gods Made Heavy Metal
Hand of Doom
Swords in the Wind
House of Death
Sons of Odin
Bass Solo / Sting of the Bumblebee
Fighting the World
The Power of Thy Sword
Kings Of Metal
Warriors of the World United

Encore:
Hail And Kill
Black Wind, Fire and Steel
Outro - Army of the Dead, Part II

No reviews as yet, but I bet Manowar Kills!

He'll probably bite his lip between now and then and have to cancel.

It ain't final either.

Quote:
Q: Let's talk about "final." Are these upcoming summer shows really going to be the last MANOWAR shows ever?

Joey: "Okay, let me clarify something. We never announced the end of MANOWAR; we didn't even plan to never tour again. There are so many places that we constantly get fan requests from… We said it's time for a break. So that we can work on other projects for our fans: For example, I'll be traveling with my spoken-word tour this winter where I'll be talking about the history of the band, rare photos and video included. I am working on a metal opera (think 'We Will Rock You', but MANOWAR style). And, of course, we'll continue with Part II and III of our 'The Final Battle' trilogy. But I'll be honest: With the overwhelming feedback from this tour, and fans literally begging us to continue it is really hard to not think of new touring. We've had fans tell us that the thought of us retiring or not touring anymore takes the joy out of their lives. Having such an impact is an honor and a responsibility that we take seriously."
