Their last couple of albums didn't have the longevity of their earlier records and became boring to listen to pretty fast. This new song (also released with Swedish vocals) is already sounding a lot more interesting than anything off the last two albums!

Looks like there is something new (or possibly old) coming from AC/DC later in the year

My fav AC/DC album (and I’m sure for many others too).

Quiet Riot return in November with the worst album cover in the history of rock.

Between this, Back in Black and Black Ice for me.

Black Ice has some proper quality songs on it, they just aren't as famous as their older stuff.

It's like Motorhead. Most of their 21st century works like Inferno were every bit as good if not better than say Ace of Spades or Iron Fist or Bomber, it's just that they didn't gain that near mythical legend status but proper Motorhead fans who bought the records and weren't just stuck in the early 80's know of their quality.

No, actually it wasn't. It was a fact sadly.

Look at compilation producers for example. You'd think Motorhead had only come up with one song.

Iron Maiden are similar in a way. There are plenty of songs since Bruce and Adrian came back into the band for Brave New World that are as good as anything from their supposed 80's heyday.

Sony didn't get the message when they released this compilation by Europe in 1996.

Shame their Fulci inspired debut single isn't on there ahem.

Rush - A Farewell To Kings.

It's the only one I have. I do quite like it. Especially Xanadu.
