A great shame.

I wasn't going to get the new album after the first couple of singles but that third one with Elton John was ****ing tremendous.

He was actually diagnosed with Parkin Syndrome back in 2005

Osbourne Diagnosed With Parkin Syndrome | Contactmusic.com

"...the 56-year-old singer presumed his body shakes were a result of a lifetime of drug abuse, until doctors recently told him he has inherited the condition from his relatives.

He says, "I'd always assumed it was the booze and stuff. Now I've found it all stems from the family. It's called Parkin but it's not Parkinson's. Anything to do with the central nervous system has the word Parkin in it.

"When I told my sisters she said, 'Not you as well? Mum had that and Auntie Elsie and your grandma.'"

The cynic in me hopes that this isn't another precursor to a cancelling / postponing of the UK and Europe tour later in the year!

It was only officially announced yesterday that he had full blown Parkinson's disease.

It's on the cover of four national newspapers today.

Black Sabbath announce 'Black Sabbath' listening parties in complete darkness | Planet Rock

"Black Sabbath will celebrate the 50th anniversary of their seminal debut album 'Black Sabbath' by hosting two listening parties in complete darkness.

Organised by Pitchblack Playback, the listening sessions in MQA high definition audio take place on Tuesday 11th February – two days before ‘Black Sabbath’ officially turns 50 - at the Number 10 venue in Hackney, East London. Attendees will wear face masks to take them into darkness.

There are two playbacks to choose from at 7.30pm and 8.30pm and tickets are on sale here. No members of Black Sabbath will be present."

Alternately, why not just sit at home, shut the curtains, turn the lights off, play the record...and save yourself £9
