Rumour: New AC/DC Album To Feature MALCOLM YOUNG's Rhythm Guitar Playing On All Songs

Quote:
Five years prior to the 'Black Ice' LP, AC/DC's 15th studio release, Angus and Malcolm Young lived to together where they literally wrote hundreds of songs, many were recorded and have been stashed away until now. Angus has decided to selected the best tracks from those recordings that Malcolm played on and is now back in the studio recording and mixing them with fellow bandmates Phil Rudd, Cliff Williams and, yes, Brian Johnson on vocals
It might be a rumour but it's probably true.

Dammit, I totally missed this post last week, and obviously now it's too late!
It's not my favourite Cathedral album but I still really like it, I've long since lost my CD of it.

I sometimes have a little look myself, but, I know I will be in trouble if anything with Music Magpie on the packaging gets delivered to the house though haha, I can always post them to the office

Not strictly 'heavy metal', but hey-ho!

For anyone in the London area on Tuesday, 25th September

"Voluminously bearded rock legend Billy F Gibbons has announced an album signing and live Q&A later this month.

The ZZ Top singer and guitarist will take part in a live Q&A session with fans at HMV on Oxford Street, London at 6pm prompt

After answering questions, Billy will then be signing copies of his second solo album ‘The Big Bad Blues’, which is released on Friday 21st September via Snakefarm Records on CD and a ltd edition red vinyl that’s available exclusively at HMV.

Entry to the wrist-banded event will be allocated in advance on a first-come basis. You can find out more information and apply right here."

YES! YES! YES!

I hope I can book a couple of tickets - no doubt they'll sell fast.

Although how the hell is Judas Priest supporting Ozzy? Pfft! We all know who the real Metal Gods are.
