I'm not too keen on those designs. Like most Arrow artworks they look too jumbled.

My fave was the classic Eagle logo design.

I had a shirt similar to that when I was 14, it had a big upside down cross on the back, I wore it to my sisters 18th birthday party which is the main reason why I was in charge of filming it so I wouldn’t be seen on the video

Iron Maiden are continuing with their 'Legacy Of The Beast' tour in 2019, with new dates in America, Canada, Mexico, Brazil, Argentina, and Chile

Does this mean they are coming back to the UK? Who knows!

They did the UK leg this year, these dates are the tours completion. Hopefully then they'll begin work on a new album.

To promote the American shows, Iron Maiden have released an official video of 'Run To The Hills', recorded on the European dates of the 'Legacy Of The Beast' tour

Sadly, it seems that Janick Gers is still doing that thing with his guitar when he should actually be playing it!

He has to do something on stage since he’s not actually needed for guitar playing haha

The showboating from Janick is a major grievance for some hardcore Maiden fans, doesn’t bother me because he only does on songs where, like Justin says, he’s not really needed for the song i.e Run to the Hills, Iron Maiden (where he uses a wireless guitar pack so he can throw it around), Wrathchild etc. His playing on other songs is practically faultless while still doing a bit of showboating.
I’d still rather watch him play than fretwankers like Vai, Satch, Malmsteen, EVH etc

Problem is...he was doing it when I saw Gillan in 1982!

More on Iron Maiden and the Rock and Roll Hall Of Fame

Bruce Dickinson’s ‘maiden’ voyage with spoken word | The Jerusalem, Post

"You were recently in the headlines for descriptively slamming the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame. Do you think Iron Maiden has been overlooked?

Ha! I was so annoyed with that coverage because they took my statement out of context to make it seem like I was upset that we weren’t in the hall of fame.

I’m really happy we’re not there and I would never want to be there. If we’re ever inducted I will refuse – they won’t bloody be having my corpse in there.

Rock & roll music does not belong in a mausoleum in Cleveland. It’s a living, breathing thing, and if you put it in a museum, then it’s dead. It’s worse than horrible, it’s vulgar."

The next issue of the Planet Rock magazine is an Iron Maiden special

"In tribute to their magnificent The Legacy Of The Beast tour, quite possibly the greatest heavy metal production ever staged, we’ve crowned British rock legends Iron Maiden as our Band Of The Year for 2018. To salute one of our greatest national treasures, issue 11 of Planet Rock magazine features exclusive interviews with vocalist Bruce Dickinson and bandleader/bassist Steve Harris, as they take us inside their most spectacular show ever… and also look back at where all this madness started four decades ago!"
