Sounds like some late 90s early 2000s pop punk band

I have one of theirs - Karma from 2001.

Is this symphonic power metal new to you, Justin?

If it is i strongly recommend Rhapsody (Later Rhapsody of Fire) who are basically the Godfathers of this sort of thing and Sonata Arctica (Seen a few of theirs on MM recently at bargain prices)

It is yes, I've only heard a couple of songs from a few bands such as the very epic Valhalla from Blind Guardian, though that's less symphony and more power but that live at Wacken version is intense

Imagine looking like your secondary school geography teacher and having so much command over 10's of thousands of people all singing your song to you!

I have three Blind Guardian albums.

Nightfall in Middle Earth, Somewhere Far Beyond and A Twist in the Myth.

I really like these two Rhapsody songs.

Rhapsody - Emerald Sword

Rhapsody -The Village of Dwarves

This is something new to me.

The only instrument is a drum kit. This lot sing all the guitar parts except the main solo. You'll probably recognise one of the singers.

Van Canto - Fear of the Dark.

It could be ridiculous but the Wacken crowd clearly love it.
