I had tickets to see them on their first tour here and 9/11 happened and all the bands pulled out. I managed to see them a few years later when they supported Metallica but the set was short sadly i missed them again in 2015 so im really looking forward to seeing them doing their own show.

I don’t know why but I never got slipknot, it’s everything that I like but it just never clicked with me.

They played in Liverpool on their last tour and I know a few people who went and they all loved it.

I saw them on a joint arena headline tour with Slayer.

Unfortunately Slayer played first that night...Basically game over!

It took Slipknot six drummers at one point to compete with Dave Lombardo.

Don't get me wrong they were good (I do like them and have all their studio releases) but even with nine on stage they got nowhere close to the sheer power of Slayer.

It's been years since I seen slipknot live, it was just after they released all hope is gone actually good night to be honest, don't think I'd be up to seeing them again though

NIGHTWISH PRESS STATEMENT

Nightwish has begun working on their 9th studio album, set to be released during spring 2020.

Below you will find a statement from Jukka Nevalainen, who`s been the drummer in the band since their 1997 debut album “Angels Fall First”:

“ It has now been five years since my difficult decision, due to severe insomnia, to step aside from the Vehicle of Spirit of Nightwish. This included the previous studio album and the tours which followed.
As I then expected, it turned out to be the right thing to do. These days I’m doing fantastic, and hardly ever need to deal with any sleeping issues. It also dawned on me that having more time to merely focus on band - related things happening behind the curtains made all the difference.
Having said this, I have decided not to push my luck by returning to the band.
My dear pal Kai Hahto will take my place as a full-time member of the band. I will continue to take care of the bands businesses in the background, and Im very much looking forward to what other adventures life has to offer!
My sincere thank you`s for the band and the fans for the glorious time we shared! “
