Yes, you are right, it's an EP.

"Produced by Kirk, Portals is comprised of the songs “Maiden and the Monster” and “The Jinn” on side A, followed by “High Plains Drifter” and “The Incantation” on side B. The latter two were co-written with Edwin Outwater, who you may remember from S&M2.

Portals will be available to order on the Met Store and the Probity UK Shop on Saturday, April 23."

You were right.

I love it. It doesn't sound like an 80's hard rock album. It sounds like EVERY 80's hard rock album. From Europe to Whitesnake with everything else thrown in.

I wasn't impressed by the first couple of songs at all but grew into the rest of the album as i listened. However now i've heard those first two a couple more times they sound brilliant... So many hooks, harmonies and great riffs.

Not sure what you were thinking on Friday, Justin.

Thanks. Once i'd heard Hunter's Moon, Twenties and Call Me Little Sunshine as part of the album the whole thing seemingly clicked into place.

Looks like 2022 is going to be a big year for hard rock albums.

With new ones from Scorpions, Ghost and Slash so far it looks like we'll also get new albums from Def Leppard, Muse, Rammstein and Red Hot Chili Peppers in the first six months of the year.

Keeping the Friday vibes going...

Also, I highly recommend this Rammstein concert Bluray (Rammstein Paris), it's one of the best I've seen and it was directed by Jonas Akerlund.

Have you seen Rammstein live?

Superb. I first saw them at Manchester Apollo and then a couple of years later at the MEN. At both shows i could feel the heat from the flames there were so many of them.

Doubt they'll play arenas again sadly as they seem to be at the level of stadium act now all over the world.

I’ve not, which I do regret. Like you say they are a 1 stadium date per country kind of band these days. I wouldn’t rule out an arena tour though at some point in the future. I will definitely go if they do one.
