Some great tunes there Demoncrat, particularly liked the first one. Coil are great too.

Mind you, it probably all sounds much better at the moment because I just smoked a fat one.

Back when I was a 17 year old apprentice electrician one of my workmates used to play Gong cassettes all the time in the van, haven't heard any of there stuff since then, mental springs to mind!

Psychic Ills were a recommendation as well!! Basically, i hate prog (except VDGG) and felt the thread was getting bogged down in interminably dull solo land

Now, you see, I love prog rock. Probably my fave musical genre after space rock (or acid rock as it used to be known before political correctness prevailed - and prog rock actually used be called pomp rock, IIRC).

But I take in everything from the grungy rawness of 13th Floor Elevators right through to the epic monsters from ELP and early Genesis. It's all good to my ears.
