RIP indeed.

Still, I'm glad that I caught Gong live on what turned out to be their very last ever tour. They were meant to be touring again in the latter part of last year, but the tour was cancelled for obvious reasons. But the musical legacy will live on. When he passed away I was surprised at the amount of tributes and how influential Allen and Gong were to so many diverse artists. Everyone from The Guardian to Metal Hammer were paying tribute.

The best tribute I can give is to keep on making the strange and weird music that I specialise in.

Couldn't think where to post this, so hopefully here will do.
Tonight me and our drummer are off to watch some friends of ours, who are in the Off The Wall Pink Floyd tribute act, so I thought I'd record my own Floyd style song this afternoon to try out my new studio gear, enjoy (or not )
