2 nuns and a pack mule was certainly the most punk record of its year (discounting Killdozer)..... each to their own.... great to hear Kennedys again btw |

Exactly right, Each to their own. Especially in Punk. Individuality is what punk is all about after all, right!

My 6 year old daughter, was upset that she couldn't dance like people on telly earlier. A quick lesson on punk philosophy, several clips of The Slits on Youtube and she doesn't care now what anyone thinks of her dancing. And for what it's worth my favourite punk bands/artists. Rudimentary Peni Discharge Violators Big Black Rapeman Shellac Oblivians Sonics Little Richard Jerry Lee Lewis The Mummies Elvis (the Sun Recordings) Minor Threat Black Flag Hank Williams Blitz Cockney Rejects Flux of Pink Indians Jon Spencer's Blues Explosion 13th Floor Elevators Supercharger The Brentwoods Compulsive Gamblers Reigning Sound Johnny Thunders The Jim Jones Revue I realise a lot of these don't fit the media or scene created idea of punk, but hey, **** you! |
