Just reading about the life of Ian Stuart of Skrewdriver, and its mystifying to me how someone could make a musical career (or any career) out of racial bigotry. I mean I have a few Death in June albums and some power electronics that play around with this kind of stuff, but Stuart sounds like the real deal. Reading this bite size biography (and I dunno how impartial it is), his death in a car accident in 1993 seems like an appropriately violent end to a violent life...

I've got a good book on Far Right Skinhead Music at home but for the life of me can't remember the title or author at the moment. I'll post it tonight.

Wes, I found the book.

"White Noise-Inside the International Nazi Skinhead Scene" edited by Nick Lowles and Steve Silver.

"White Riot-The Violent Story of Combat 18" also by Lowles makes a good companion piece.

I saw this a few weeks ago and I thought it was really great - We Jam Econo: The Story of the Minutemen. My first time hearing the Minutemen and I liked it...
