Within Temptation at Brixton Academy was bloody awesome.
The atmosphere at the concert was electric.
Stand out track for me was 'Shot In The Dark'.
Support band were good and went down very well.

What did you think of the Stairway to the Skies finale?

We were lucky enough to get Mother Earth in the Manchester gig, they played Ice Queen the night before.

Yeah, Stairway to the Skies was amazing.
We had Mother Earth before that.

Manowar are one of the few bands i've never seen but wanted to. However not enough to pay that much plus travel to Brum and back.

I don't even own all their albums.

They have two entries in the Guinness Book of World Records

Three times they have been noted as being the 'world's loudest band' - In 1984, in 1994 and again in 2008

They also have the record for the 'world's longest heavy metal concert', when they played for 5 hours and 1 minute (301 minutes) at the Kavarna Rock Fest in Bulgaria on July 5th, 2008. They came on stage at 9.49pm and finished their show at 2.50am...without a break or interval!
