I'll see your Winterfylleth and raise you an Ulver!

I'm still finding it hilarious that the reviewer in Terrorizer said that the best track on The Dark Hereafter was Led Astray in the Forest Dark and saying that it evokes echoes of Ulver without realising that it was a very faithful note for note cover version of an Ulver song from Bergtatt

I gave up with Terrorizer when a reviewer, Paul Stenning, reviewed the same Queensryche gig i was at.

He said in the review that it was a poor gig because the band played too much newer material and just an encore of classics.

It was absolute bollocks as they played the Operation Mindcrime album in full from start to finish, encored with three tracks from Empire and finally Queen of the Reich. I class it as an all time great show.

I wrote in but received no reply nor had the letter published. That mag could **** off after that. It was impossible to trust their reviews.

That's a pretty poor showing, it's fairly obvious they don't really know what's what any more. I haven't read it properly since around 2000. I just look at the album reviews every now and then in WHSmith

That gig was probably around 2003-05.
