My parents were very interested in going to see Genesis, but when they found out the cheapest tickets were £79, they thought that was a bit too much money to pay to watch three old guys (including Phil Collins with crutches) and have decided not to book tickets.

Probably no good for them, but it's sightly cheaper in Birmingham via ticket master:

Price from £69.25 (Incl service fee)
+ £2.55 admin fee per order
+ £1 postage fee per order

I guess it depends how fit and healthy they are, and how well they perform at an advanced stage in their lives.

I can't see genesis being that bad might be wrong , I've seen bands who are in their prime play worse than bands in their 70s . I've not seen price of the tickets anywhere so I'll wait and see .

Heart are a band i've always wanted to see even though i only have three albums by them - Heart, Bad Animals and Brigade.
