Aerosmith have cancelled their entire summer 2022 European tour including their trio of arena shows in the UK. The Boston rock legends had already rescheduled the headline tour twice, however they issued a statement last night (31st January) saying that it won’t be going ahead due to Covid restrictions. The UK leg of the European tour was due to visit London The O2 on June 22nd before hitting Manchester on June 28th and Sheffield on July 1st

Sadly, like Ozzy, what were once dangerous rock stars are now men in their seventies who are probably fearful for their health and basically don't need the hassle any more. With a bit of luck the 'exciting news' will be a new studio album. |

If a band is contemplating a large tour, not knowing what the public health situation in each country is currently like or how it would be when the concert takes place would be a cause of uncertainty. If they don't think playing in front of 10,000+ people standing cheek-by-jowl in a large arena is a good idea, I don't blame them.
