Thought Paul McCartney was pretty good at Glastonbury last night. I didn't watch all the set by any means but did switch on to see Dave Grohl and then Bruce Springsteen make appearances for a couple of songs each including Springsteen's Glory Days. Live and Let Die was very spectacular. Whilst final encore The End was a hard rock spectacular with Dave and The Boss trading riffs and solos with McCartney and his two guitarists. ![]() Last edited by Demdike@Cult Labs; 26th June 2022 at 10:31 AM. |

As I am classified as 'clinically extremely vulnerable', I've been very reluctant to go to any gigs, films at the cinema, or the theatre. I had tickets to see Alan Partridge last month and didn't go, and was due to see The Book of Mormon again on Friday; we phoned and cancelled those for a refund yesterday. Although I wish it didn't take your illness to know my hesitancy was not unfounded, it's good to know I have been avoiding a real threat to my health and haven't been unduly cautious.
