I truly have never heard any Biffy Clyro songs. However they sound like an excellent live act.

130 minutes is a proper running time and well worth the ticket price. There's nothing worse than bands playing 70/80 minutes, always makes you feel short changed.

Was there a support band?

They are superb live, though this is only based on the two occasions where I've seen them. Watching the band in concert really drives home how much energy the three of them (plus the omnipresent tour guitarist and pianist who was present for a couple of songs, both on the wings of the stage) expended during the evening. It's fascinating to watch how the singing duties are spread around because they are the only band I've seen in which every member sings during every song. There are a couple of exceptions which, as I said, are the quieter ones where it was just Simon and a guitar. Generally though, they were all multitasking by playing their instruments and singing throughout.

The support band was Brand New, who I first heard of 13 years ago when they released Deja Entendu, best known for this song:

They played for 40-45 minutes straight through, with eight songs and were worth going early to see.

Guess I was wrong!
If anyone is interested in what they sounded like live, before they became mega stars, this has recently been discovered and posted on YouTube

I have tickets booked to see Laura Marling on her additional tour, the one without a band. Unfortunately, all the wheelchair spaces are booked so I will be in the floorstanding area, which will be interesting and I hope I'm not stuck staring at someone's arse all evening!

As it stands, this is the up-to-date list of bands and artists I have seen:

The Prodigy (three times)
Green Day (twice)
Florence + the Machine (twice)
Ash
The Darkness
Rage Against the Machine
The Offspring
Feeder
Silverchair
Placebo
Foo Fighters (twice)
Metallica
Cave In
Papa Roach
The Stereophonics (twice)
Radiohead
[spunge]
Iron Maiden
Guns N’ Roses
Terrorvision
Alanis Morissette
Red Hot Chili Peppers (twice)
Slipknot
blink-182
Pitchshifter
A
Machine Head
The Futureheads
The Wombats
Braids
KT Tunstall (twice)
Laura Marling
Ladyhawke
Ben Montague
Bellowhead
The Pierces
Daughters of Davies
Queens of the Stone Age
The Staves
Regina Spektor
Lau
Treacherous Orchestra
Brand New
Biffy Clyro (twice)
Bonzo Dog Doo-Dah Band

Lady Gaga is returning to England in October for three shows

9th October 2017 - LONDON - O2 Arena
15th October 2017 - BIRMINGHAM - Barclaycard Arena
17th October 2017 - MANCHESTER - Manchester Arena

Tickets go on sale at 9am on Friday 10th February, but presumably they are going to sell out F-A-S-T

However...it's very noticeable that there are some large gaps in the dates where extra shows could be added

There's only a big gap between the first and second dates and that could be to do with logistics (i.e. taking down, moving, and then reassembling an extremely complicated set and selection of lights and pyrotechnic devices.
