Their new album charted at #6. It's their highest chart release for original Quo material since the 1+9+8+2 album in er' 1982.

Good job real Quo fans aren't as dismissive as you Susan.

Not at all dismissive

As I posted in the 'Live Music' thread, back in December 2016:

I last saw them over 30 years ago, and they are one of those bands where you know exactly what you are going to get. However, without Rick Parfitt in the band anymore, there was something missing. The songs were wonderful and the interaction between Francis Rossi and the audience was still there, but without Parfitt, it seemed to be Francis Rossi and backing band.

This tour is supposedly the last electric tour that the band are going to play. Instead, from 2017, they are going to be concentrating more on acoustic tours and recordings.

With a set full of back-to-back hits, for me they worked best on the faster, older songs, and it was a delight to hear 'Caroline', 'Down Down' and 'Paper Plane' although the folk trappings of 'Gerdundula' were also welcome. However, the big surprise was 'In The Army Now'. I have always found the recorded version to be incredibly tedious, but in the live arena, with the lightshow depicting gunfire (ala Metallica's 'One'), the song took on a whole new poignancy and was certainly a highspot

So much for no more electric tours as mentioned in your post / review.

Did you see them yesterday at that Hyde Park gig on BBC4? The only song i heard was Down, Down which was fine until Rossi stopped singing and someone else took over, someone who didn't seem much of a singer at all.

No, I didn't see it

I know someone who went to the event, and I'm just waiting to hear what she thought of it

I do that's who
I went onto to their website and checked tickets for USA, anything from $450 plus, then I spotted a bit press for tickets for the uk, and a little small bit that said price range, I pressed it and it said various from £192.

IF that's true then I think I'll give that a miss.

I said to my friend, guess WHO touring, he didn't get my clue.
