I saw KT Tunstall on Monday night at the Sage in Gateshead, the second time I've seen her in that great venue and third time I've seen her play live.

With a five piece band (all female) and a sizeable set list encompassing songs from most (if not all) of her albums as well as an impressive cover of Tom Petty's 'Won't Back down' and 'Black Horse and the Cherry Tree' segueing into 'Black Betty' rather than the usual 'Seven Nation Army', it was a great night of live music.

There are more dates on the tour and probably tickets available for each venue – I highly recommend going along.

The official poster for Glastonbury 2019

Is it just me, or is this line-up truly awful?

Quite a few I've got no idea who they are or maybe I'm just out off touch with music
But yes in theory is pretty dire
The Cure wouldn't mind seeing
Kylie. No offence but Nah!
Janet Jackson. Nope
Miley Cyrus god no
The Chemical Brothers. brilliant live
Snow Patrol I've seen 70 + bands groups etc live and these are by far the worst so bad half the crowd had left within 40 min and so did I , only live act I've ever left
The Good, The Bad & The Queen, be interesting .
Hot Chip quite like these .

It's not the best line up, underwhelming for sure. But a few good groups and artists: the cure; Johnny Marr, 2 door cinema club; Kylie Minogue; Hot Chip and Snow Patrol*.
Not enough to prompt me to buy a ticket.
Its better than transmt this year

Also just noticed Interpol and Tame Impala.

Here's a video it's not great quality but she's truly excellent.

Tis a pity she specializes in r n'b bollocks as she's clearly an excellent rock singer. Same goes with Fergie from Black Eyed Peas.

If Cyrus ever goes the rock route ala Taylor Momsen and The Pretty Reckless then i'd be a fan.

Weren't they more manufactured typical pop punk songs that were popular at the time rather than a more classic rock sound of Temple of the Dog (using the example above) or Pearl Jam.
