| Glastonbury Festival cancelled for second consecutive year / Planet Rock "Glastonbury Festival has been cancelled for a second consecutive year due to the coronavirus pandemic, organisers Emily and Michael Eavis have confirmed. In a statement issued at lunchtime today, the Eavis’ explained that despite their best efforts they “simply will not be able to make the festival happen this year.” The full statement reads: Last year’s Glastonbury was cancelled on 18th March 2020 just six days after father and daughter team Michael and Emily Eavis announced the line-up. The 50th anniversary 2020 event was due to be headlined by Paul McCartney, Kendrick Lamar and Taylor Swift with artists including Noel Gallagher, Supergrass and Thom Yorke also on the bill. The 2021 line-up was yet to be revealed this year."
