Great to see the Cherries back in arenas. The Darkness too. I hope it sells well.

Thought Paul McCartney was pretty good at Glastonbury last night. I didn't watch all the set by any means but did switch on to see Dave Grohl and then Bruce Springsteen make appearances for a couple of songs each including Springsteen's Glory Days.

Live and Let Die was very spectacular. Whilst final encore The End was a hard rock spectacular with Dave and The Boss trading riffs and solos with McCartney and his two guitarists.

I thought McCartney’s set was fantastic. I was going to watch a bit of it and ended up watching the whole thing! Great stuff.

As well as giving me ringing ears this concert also gave me covid, my 2+yrs of escape has come to an end lol, coming through the other side now but just be aware if you’re going to a big indoor gig!

I hope you have very mild symptoms and it isn't a serious infection.

As I am classified as 'clinically extremely vulnerable', I've been very reluctant to go to any gigs, films at the cinema, or the theatre. I had tickets to see Alan Partridge last month and didn't go, and was due to see The Book of Mormon again on Friday; we phoned and cancelled those for a refund yesterday.

Although I wish it didn't take your illness to know my hesitancy was not unfounded, it's good to know I have been avoiding a real threat to my health and haven't been unduly cautious.
