Next gig I've got lined up is at Cambridge Junction, I'm seeing The Lemonheads play It's A Shame About Ray in full. Looking forward to it!

Last I went to was Fest in Florida! Things haven't quite been the same since...

A whole bunch of punks take over the city of Gainesville basically, with 4 days of music at various venues. Plus, unlike those rubbish UK festivals, you get to stay in a hotel.

I struggle to remember all the bands I saw there, but here's some - Bouncing Souls, Teenage Bottlerocket, Landmines, Savage Brewtality, The Blacklist Royals, Tigers Jaw, Good Luck, Mikey Erg, Bomb The Music Industry, Cobra Skulls, A Willhelm Scream, The Copyrights, Pure Graft, Caves, Leagues Apart, Ssssnakes, Great Cynics, Look Mexico, O Pioneers.

An awesome atmosphere, and $2 beers. I just might have to go again some when.

But camping is an integral part of the festival experience!

I've done the Reading festival a few times, plus a couple local festivals in Bristol and Bath when I was living down there. Never done Glastonbury though: something I wish to rectify in the not too distant future!

I've lost track of all the artists I've seen live, but here is an off-the-top-of-my-head list:

Amen
Ash
Beck
Biffy Clyro
The Black Rebel Motorcycle Club
Blur
Bush
Coalchamber
Cyclefly
Darkness
The Doves
Eminem
Alec Empire
The Coral
Dropkick Murphys
Elbow
Fear Factory
Feeder
The Foo Fighters
Godhead
Greenday
The Hives
A Hundred Reasons
Iggy Pop & The Stooges
Incubus
Iron Maiden
Jane's Addiction
The Killers
Kings of Leon
The Libertines
Linkin Park
Lost Prophets
Marilyn Manson
Metallica
Mew
Morrissey
Muse
New Found Glory
Nine Inch Nails
NOFX
The Offspring
The Pixies
PJ Harvey
Placebo
Portishead
Primal Scream
The Prodigy (at least 3 times)
Queens of the Stone Age
The Rasmus
Reel Big Fish
Skinny Puppy
System of a Down
The Streets
The Strokes
Sunna
Thrice
VNV Nation
Weezer
The White Stripes

The first band I ever saw live was Bush, who were supported by Cyclefly at the tender age of 13 - yes I embraced the '90s grunge era!

I've probably seen about 700 bands over the years, but the ones that I've seen the most would be Kiss (3), Prince (5), Boris (6), Weezer (4), Dillinger Escape Plan (4), Biffy Clyro (8 or 9), Rival Schools (3), Deftones (4), Jonah Matranga (15ish?), Frank Turner (6 or 7), Silverchair (3) and Jurassic 5 (3).

My first gig was Bon Jovi at Milton Keynes Bowl when I was 13 in 1996.

Just saw the Red Hot Chilli Peppers in Glasgow, third time seeing them and probably the best show I've seen them do.

Have tickets for my wife's Christmas to see Coldplay, not my cup of tea but she loves them.

I am hoping 2012 gives me the chance to see Soundgarden, Black Sabbath & maybe Pearl Jam.

Favourite gigs I've been to would be Stevie Wonder, Prince, The Shins, Band of Horses, Alice in Chains & The Wildhearts numerous times!

My first gig was Discharge at Bowes Lyon House, Stevenage, I was 14. Hawkwind are the band I've seen the most, 29 times!!!

I couldn't even begin to guess how many bands I've seen over the years, throughout my teens there were fortnightly punk gigs in my home town of Stevenage which was a major place on the circuit at the time. Caught Black Flag and Bad Brains there along with a whole mix of hardcore, Oi, and anarcho bands.

In the late 80s/early 90s I'd travel to London at least once a week to see a band, more often than not I'd do 2 or 3 gigs a week. Stand outs include, "Day Dream Nation" era Sonic Youth, Shellac, Rapeman, Man Or Astroman, The Mummies, Trashwomen, Mule, Palace, Jon Spencer's Blues Explosion, Boredoms, Swans, Jesus Lizard. A mix of garage punk and what was then termed noise.
