Two new albums this week.

Ramones - I had no idea until earlier this week that this was all their albums for Chrysalis - Brain Drain, Mondo Bizarro, Acid Eaters, Adios Amigos and Loco Live - I just thought it was a compilation. Delighted to now own this three disc set. Been listening to it all day.

Neil Young - I loved the song Prince Vajda posted last week and had to snap this up.

The albums they made for Chrysalis are totally underrated, it be nice to see these remastered like they did with there earlier albums...

In the booklet it says they'll never be released individually again as there is no extra material and the albums themselves are too short to be value for money.

Obviously they'll be announced next week now.

I luv the Brain Drain album, but it always sounded a bit flat to me...funnily enough I down loaded the track Pet cemetery to my phone and that sounded much better than the cd version, any way its still a good listen.

Recent cd purchases.

Last of a Dying Breed seems like it will be the last Lynyrd Skynyrd studio album. Presuming the current farewell tour is actually a goodbye to the band.

The Pantera and Aerosmith collections were £2.49 BOGOF at MM. The Pantera has a dvd collection of music videos with it and the Aerosmith one contains a couple of exclusive songs i didn't previously own.

I’ve got that Pantera set, only difference is mine came with a slipcover, I only bought it for the DVD and the two new songs

That's cool. I never even looked at the tracklisting on the cd. Yeah, two songs - The Badge and Immortally Insane that i've not heard before.

According to Wiki the US version has Cat Scratch Fever from Detroit Rock City soundtrack.
