I received Saturday Night Wrist by Deftones today, an album I somehow hadn't bought before, and really liked it on the first listen.

As for the other band i have never heard of them.
Surprised to hear that Nordic.

Alter Bridge formed from the remains of Creed (an average grunge lite radio rock band).

Once singer Scott Stapp moved on they rest of the band replaced him with the fantastic Myles Kennedy changed their sound and became Alter Bridge.

A modern rock band thats at home in arena's and on the radio. I saw them tour their first album and they were utterly brilliant. You can just tell when a band means business and they really meant business. Support band The Answer were also great.

Plugging gaps in my Nurse With Wound collection. That's my spending done for the day (although I'm seriously tempted to grab the BFI's Riddle of the Sphinx Blu)
