Mate of mine did a concert with her a few years back. Absolutely barking apparently. The place they were playing was supposed to be haunted and as he was getting ready in his changing room Hazel burst in with a sheet over her head going "Woooo, woooo, i'm the ghost".

Guns n' Roses Two disc Appetite for Destruction reissue. It's a nice package with a packed booklet but the discs keep falling out as the slipcase is open both sides. Really not well thought out.

The sound, especially the drums, is an improvement on the original album in my opinion.

Just bought the new Green Day album from Sainsbury's.

Fancied a short sharp shock of pop punk.

I really like that t shirt i like the colour they used rather than putting the actual coloured artwork on it.

Justin101 6th March 2020 04:28 PM

I would have got the bundle if I had known! Nice t-shirt.

I ordered this on Sunday from MusicMagpie since it's not available to stream, it arrived on Tuesday which I thought was fantastic. I feel guilty ordering things online at the moment though, I hope those warehouse workers are being treated to safe work environments.

Anyway, Porcupine Tree - Fear of a Blank Planet. Attachment 223625

Demdike@Cult Labs 10th April 2020 02:00 PM

Music Magpie are donating to the NHS and have a deal set up with the Royal Mail for deliveries. It was on their website and sent via email when this began to get serious.

I doubt they are like Amazon and have a lot less staff in their warehouse.

The only Porcupine Tree album i have is Deadwing - the one prior to Fear of a Blank Planet. I really like it. Don't know why i never got anymore.

The artist who made that cover, Jesse Draxler, I'm obsessed with his work it's amazing.

Demoncrat 11th April 2020 07:50 PM

Noted J. Has he done any of their others then??

Justin101 11th April 2020 07:56 PM

To be honest I've never heard Daughters, but he does a lot of work for Sacred Bones records (I'm guessing that's the label Daughters are on). Check his website for other examples, he also does magazine editorial work as well as actual 'art' lol.
