Just pre-ordered the new album from Goblin, went for the signed CD option for £26.

Goblin: Four of a Kind on PledgeMusic

They charge 7 quid for the autograph, unsigned it is £19! I hope it is signed in their blood and liquid gold for that much extra.

I hope it's a good album, as I just went for the signed one as well.

It's Goblin. It'll be a cringe worthy overblown cavalcade of seventies pomp.

I got these two albums today - The self titled albums by Blues Pills and Royal Blood.

I haven't listened to Blues Pills yet but the Royal Blood album is excellent.

I realize i'm a little late to the party with them but their sound which is richly influenced by Zeppelin, QOTSA, RATM, Sabbath, and The White Stripes, plus others, is testament to what can be achieved with only drums and a bass guitar. In fact the music the bass produces is a real WTF? moment and you aren't really aware there's no guitar.

I like all the bands you listed, so I'll find what Royal Blood music I can on YouTube and, if I like it, buy the album.

I'll be seeing Royal Blood in May when they support the Foo Fighters in Manchester, not actually listened to any of their music yet

Got some new discs to place on top of the pile of 'music CD's I don't have time to listen to':

ALICE COOPER - "Live At Cabo Wabo" (AKA "A Fistful Of Alice") - the only Alice album I did not have
KATE BUSH - "The Directors Cut" - Re-recordings of some of the songs from The Sensual World and The Red Shoes albums. Probably a waste of time and money, but hey - I like Kate Bush!
METALLICA - "Garage Inc" - A throwback to my youth. Most of the bands and songs that are covered are the kind of thing that I was listening to when I was a teenager
