Default R.I.P Scott Weiland

I'm gutted to hear of the passing of Scott Weiland he and Stone Temple Pilots were a massive part of my teenage years. Amazing voice and a fantastic front man shame about his personal demons. He will be sadly missed.

It's a name I've grown up with but his music was never on my horizon, that being said it's incredibly sad news when someone so young dies - i know 47 is not 'young' young, but it's very close to my age so it's young to me!

Thoughts go out to his wife and his band members past and present.

Very sad news.

Although i wasn't a huge fan of Stone Temple Pilots i loved him as front man for the brilliant Velvet Revolver.

I saw them twice on tours and he was always a superb singer and worked the crowds well gracing songs by Guns n' Roses with his style and vocal presence.

Having said that he was always closer to death than most people with his drug abuse and many other vices.

Saw Velvet Revolver and he was amazing, such a sad loss. Gutted. R.I.P catch him live again on another plane now.
