I think the blue border works well as a red one would clash with the lettering and there would just be too much red on the cover.

Perhaps they could post a pic of artwork with a blu(e) border and one with the red. It could be a bit easier to make a definate choice.

Will mention that to Shameless but with the artwork not being finalised yet it could be difficult.

Plus, I think whatever colour is picked here will go on all Shameless Blu-rays in the future so while we could pick a colour that goes great with the NYR artwork, it might not necessarily look as good with the artwork for whatever Shamless have up their sleeves for their next BD. I guess I'm asking more generally rather than asking what looks good with the NYR design. Apologies for not being a bit clearer!

Being bored out of my head, I decided to do a little messing about with covers, so here's a blue and a red variant for everyone to ponder over (remember these aren't real covers, just my interpretation of what they could look like).

As Sarah asked, what colour is best for Shameless BD's in general, not just New York Ripper?

Tough choice but, if you put a gun to my head, I'd go with blue. Maybe red on the alternate cover?

I do really like the blue one. I would never have even thought about red on the reverse. My braincells must be dying off quicker than I thought!
