Cool

Also saw it in HMV for £20, I already have the Shameless dvd so it'll have to wait. But WOW, the case looks f**kin' great, stands out a mile. If nothing else the case should shift a few. More like that please, I'm not joking, I saw NYR blu across a crowded HMV. The yellow just pops against all that blue. Nice job.

I just finished watching for the first time. The picture quality is great for the most part, and it was really enjoyable. I'm not sure if it was intentional or not but I found the entire thing hilarious. I always laugh at some of the ridiculous lines in Fulci's films but in this? Every time I heard the duck I was almost in tears.

I think that duck-voice thing was intentionally comical/stupid... But yeh many things in Fulci's movies are usually unintentionally funny often down to some very bad dubbing! Gotta love them for it though

The dubbing isn't as bad as some films I've seen: yesterday I watched Jess Franco's Cannibals where the dubbing is so far removed from the lip movements you have no idea what the actors were actually saying on set!

I first saw NYR about 4 years ago, really late at night whien lying in bed and honestly the duck voice really freaked me out. Doesn't have the same effect now but at the time I found it so odd it really unsettled me.

I confess i only really snapped up the Shameless fan edition of Fulci's savage slasher (both on DVD and BR) for the further film footage, exclusive extras and the undeniably attractive packaging. More for collectable purposes than anything else personally and i'm certainly satisfied with the relevant release so nice work, Shameless.

Sainsbury's haven't even shipped mine, and they started processing the week before its release, so the cancel button has gone -_-;;. I don't recommend them, and won't be using them again.

That's about £5 more than online, which is apparently about normal for HMV.
