Yeah, I had a look earlier today It looks good from what I can make out - the colouring looks quite vibrant. No substitute for the real thing of course!

I love my Philips bdp5100, great p.q. even on upscaled dvds and plays 1080p thru usb socket, got mine new for £49.99 with Attenborough box sets. So yeah, buy one and join the HD wave (tho I sometimes sound anti-blu on here.)

I've just had to cancel this, along with many other pre-orders because I have to save up for my holiday to Florida next year. No DVD's or Blu-rays at all for a year. How am I going to cope?

HMV started shipping on Wednesday.

Hopefully it's there when I get in from work!

I fear for your mental health and just hope you have a huge pile of unwatched discs to keep you occupied!

Florida better be worth it!

That's about the same as me, but it still wouldn't feel 'right' to go all week or so without buying something!

You'll probably get used to it after a while and will find a surprising number of other discs which you've only seen once and have been waiting for an opportunity to use a second viewing, go through the extra features or listen to the commentary.

Good luck!
