SHAM029/SHAM200 - New York Ripper HD: The DVD and Blu-ray Specs

Now we know that this will be the longest version of New York Ripper available anywhere, even with the minor BBFC-required cut, it's now time to unveil a few more details on this Special Edition Blu-ray and DVD release!

Both DVD and Blu-ray will be released on 27 June 2011 and, as well as a brand new high definition transfer of Fulci's classic, approximately 3 minutes of footage not in the previous Shameless release and 15 seconds of footage not in the Blue Underground BD, Shameless are also bringing you:

A presetation by Antonella Fulci, daughter and curator of Lucio Fulci's work.
A brand new, exclusive 20 min interview with Antonella Fulci and writer Dardano Sacchetti.
A fan booklet on the making of New York Ripper.

The film's running time will be 90 mins and 25 secs.

In addition to this, the Blu-ray will feature:

DTS 2.0 HD Master Audio in English.
DTS 2.0 HD Master Audio in Italian and Spanish (with English subtitles).
The unadulterated original audio, as per the original source, in English.

The DVD version of the film will feature:

Dolby Digital Mono in English.
Dolby Digital Mono in Italian, French, German and Spanish (with English subtitles).

I'd love a comp of Giallo title themes. I got one off the internet last year but it's missing New York Ripper and things.

I prefer the blue. I got the DVD of this already and passed on the BU blu so will deff get this on HD. Will let my mate who couldnt stand the images have my old dvd. Hahahaha

One more thing to add to the Cult Labs store? Hmmmmm me thinks so. :)

Even though I already own two copies of this on DVD and the Blue Underground BD, this is still a definite pre-order for me for the extra footage (all 15 seconds of it) and these new extra features. Some new artwork (not seen on either Shameless DVD) would just be the icing on the cake.

Sounds like a deal to me.:nod:
