I find it hard to believe that this film has and still continues to divide fans of Fulci when it really should be held up as an example of the guys awesome diversity. I'm not really a fan of owning more than one copy of the same film and as a result I don't own Fulci's Box Of Terror but a fan edition of NYR? I'm all over that bad boy!

Jack Hedley's performance lifts 'NYR' up a few notches in Fulci's collection of work.

Silly question but since "Donald Duck" has a TM after it on the cover, do Shameless have to have Disney's permission to use the name on their packaging?

Good question. I'd probably wait until Sarah's Internet connection is a little less 'iffy' before getting a definitive answer, but I imagine as long as you acknowledge that something is a registered trademark and the statement is defamatory, that should be all that is required.

I'd say the TM should be sufficient.

Greetings!

Righty, my internet is working all properly again now! The artworks up around the web now but I thought I'd repost both Panel A and B here so that you can compare and comment!

That's much better than my photo! I really like both of them but, as I already have two copies of the Shameless DVD (one bought originally and the other Fulci's Box of Terror), I'm going to display the original artwork with the English title as it's different to the other covers I have on show.

I really like both options and it's nice to see the artwork from SHAM001 but with the original Italian title as the alternate cover.

Wouldn't normally chip in here but that's actually our footage of Dardano and Antonella - from the same sessions seen on the Arrow releases of City of the Living Dead and Bay of Blood. We handed in 70 minutes of rough footage but Shameless wanted to edit the material themselves (much as we'd have preferred to do it - inevitably!) so, of course, we're interested to see what they've done with it! (I expect a couple of copies guys ).

We also offered to shoot Paolo Malco. He's never spoken about this one I think....

That seems a bit harsh -- what's he ever done to you?!

That quote from Alan Jones is hilarious! What part of this film is erotic? There are many words I'd choose describe NYR (great, sleazy, gritty, nasty) but erotic?
