Default New York Ripper-You gotta love it!

With the upcoming release of this Fulci sleaze classic, you've gotta ask yourself one question,'Do I feel yucky? Well do ya punk?'

Seriously though.
What 'artistic merits' do you think NYR has?

Do you like the film?

Do you find it shocking?

Prey tell please......

Not a fan, but if I pretend it's Fulci trying to do a twisted episode of Quincy I can tolerate it.

- I did my own detective work and worked out Captain Haggerty (Big fat Zombie on boat in ZFE) supplied the dog for the opening shot.

If you want gore ... you've got it.

Its one of those films along with Zombie Flesheaters and Inside amongst others that i will always put on when i want to see some guaranteed blood and guts. Love it.

I like it, the ending took me totally by surprise on first viewing, incredibly bleak and misanthropic.

The film also has one hell of a catchy main title theme.
