SHAM039: The Nurse - Artwork

Hi everyone,

It's time!

The Shameless news you've been waiting for is here! With only a few more weeks until Shameless' newest film, The Nurse is released on DVD (pre-order yours from here!), it's time to reveal the artwork. And as you'll see it's very revealing!

To celebrate such a great and fun sleazy slice of Italian exploitation, a limited edition of Shameless' The Nurse will include an interactive Ursula Andress strip-o-rama cover! Oh la la!

So, revealed for the first time on the official Shameless forum, here's the very saucy artwork for The Nurse...

This limited edition cover will work as such...

Talk about a big reveal! The fantastically naughty new Shameless artwork was designed by one of Cult Labs' members, the hugely talented Slippery Jack.

We'll be revealing the reverse artwork next week so keep your eyes pealed for that!

So, what do you think? Surely it's the most Shameless artwork yet!

The Nurse will be released by Shameless Screen Entertainment on the 21st October. Pick up yours here!

Does Jack have any idea what Andress looks like? :tongue1:

Is it a card slip case Kyle? Or am i missing something?

Nosferatu@Cult Labs 27th September 2013 11:40 AM

That's an interesting idea for a reversible sleeve, and one I like.

Love it!

Top work. Nice to see a Shameless title have a good cover for once.

I thought it was good for a Shameless title to have a shameless cover!

I was making joke that I didn't know who she was. Never mind . . .

The Strip o rama action sleeve text is very retro and effective.

William Castle eat your heart out.

...should probably point out that none of that was my idea

I think it should come with one of those novelty strip pens...

bizarre_eye@Cult Labs 27th September 2013 02:15 PM

I really like it.

the artwork compliments the vibe of the film, plus the removable sleeve (and clothes!) are a nice Shameless touch.

Nordicdusk 27th September 2013 02:44 PM

Thats great artwork and such a great idea with the slipcase.

Rassilon 27th September 2013 05:40 PM

Great artwork. Can't wait to buy it. Will there be 2 versions released, one without the slipcase? Or will this be the only version until its out of stock and is replaced.

Does Slippery Jack have a website or Facebook page. Love to see more of his work.

Ursula Undress!

Cracking sleeve-I had a good chuckle at that!

Isn't it a pity Shameless didn't have the rights to Basic Instict....what an interesting lenticular cover that would make!:p

He does have a website, it's at richardwellsgraphics.com ;) I put my postery stuff in the 'Other Work' section. I think I probably still have a facebook page, though it has been years since I used it...

Huge relief that the cover seems to be going down alright with you folk. A little out of my comfort zone, a design without any horror elements  . . .

bdc 27th September 2013 07:34 PM

I like the idea but not the artwork.

It just doesn't resemble Andress (from around 1975) enough imho... ;)

Ladies and gentlemen,

Now that you've all seen the truly Shameless front artwork for the upcoming release of The Nurse (first time ever on UK DVD!), it's time to announce the reverse artwork. Feast your eyes on this beauty...

With such a great front and reverse artwork, surely this Shameless film has the best artwork of them all! This is shaping up to be one heck of a release.

Pre-order your copy of The Nurse from here and add it to your Shameless collection!

Keep your eye on this forum around Midday on Monday when we announce the new Shameless trailer for this movie!

Demdike@Cult Labs 4th October 2013 11:17 AM
